Day 1 Arrive Tambolaka
Once you arrive in the air port you will then you will head to the western area of Sumba to see the Tambolaka where you will have a tour of the city including the temples, museums and markets of the city as well as witnessing the cultural daily life of the local people. You will then check into a hotel which will be where you dine n the evening after a visit to Pai Lijing and the Tarong area as well as Waitabar areas which are all beautiful Sumbanese villages.
Day 2 Waikabubak – Kodi Full day tour
The second day of the 5 Day Sumba Tour is dedicated to the area of Kodi where you will drive to this traditional village area where there is a lot to see. You will see the Tosi village as well as the Parona Baroro village as well as the Roteggaro and the Wainyapu villages. You will have ample opportunities to see the traditional houses and buildings as well as the local people’s lives and even try their food as well as their trades. You will eat a packed lunch on the beach in this beautifully scenic area before going on to see the Tanah Teke where there is a coffee plantation before returning to the hotel for your dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3 Waikabubak – Wanukaka – Lamboya

The fourth day of the 5 Days Sumba Tour is perhaps the main day of the tour and includes extensive travel around the Eastern part of the island stopping at all of the major areas including the traditional houses and villages of the Sumbanese and the Pau Dan Rende village as well as the Kingdom of the Greatest Stone graves surrounded by traditional buildings and houses. On the way back you will pass through Melolo which offers sublime panoramas which stretch for miles and offer all types of wildlife.
Day 5 Waingapu – Departure
The fifth day is essentially for returning to your hotel in Bali although there is time in the morning sometimes to relax or walk close to the Hotel. With all expenses paid, this is a great way to all of the main sights of Sumba in only a few days.
