Bali Snorkeling
(by: Administrator - on Aug 16, 2009 for country Bali)
Bali offers some excellent opportunities for snorkeling suitable for all levels including beginners located all over the island. You can many different tours depending what appeals to your interests or is conveniently close to your location. These include Menjangan Island, Lembongan Island, Tulamben, Amed and Nusa Dua all of which are no more than US$50 and include everything you need for a great day out. These great locations offer shallow reef life which is visible from the surface in clear warm waters as well as offering great potential for shallow surface dives for closer inspection. Tulamben and the Amed area offer the wreck as well as more diversity and beauty than the other areas on Bali and with the islands of Menjangan and Lembongan there is plenty of beauty both above and beneath the water and a great sense of adventure. All of the packages offer great value for money as well as all of the required food and beverages and boat or land transport to all of the locations.

The Nusa Dua Tour is probably the most convenient tour for most tourists residing in the south of the island and hence forth is the cheapest. There is plenty to see on the quieter beaches further south of the main areas where currents run over the sun lit reefs. The island of Menjangan is a tiny little island located just north of Sanur offering a very small amount of life on its rocky surface but just under the surface of the water is a different story where you will find reefs and drops covered in tropical life. Nusa Lembongan offers many beaches and reefs with great opportunities to see all sorts’ of life including turtles at the right time of year. As well as this there are plenty of great facilities and a boat ride included with beautiful views of the east coast of the island of Bali.

Bali snorkeling is of a very high standard also with the incredible ship wreck of the US Liberty ship which is completely covered in coral and is home to millions of small tropical fish. When snorkeled at low tide it is possible to see a lot of the ship on clear days and with a short surface dive even more comes to life. Amed and Tulamben are not just great areas for Bali snorkeling but also beautiful areas to see above the water. As with any area on the coast of Bali or its neighbouring islands, there are plenty of experience and adventures to be had above the water on the cultural and incredibly beautiful beach area. There are always opportunities for shopping as well as relaxing with some extra drinks or making the most of the sun bathing chances as well as having a great time enjoying your holiday while getting fit and a tan as well as great memory to take home with you. These very well priced trips and tours only take a short amount of time and are very well priced as well as being suitable to all.
