Bali Vacation
(by: Administrator - on Jul 21, 2009 for city Bali)

When planning a Bali vacation there is a lot to think about such as where you will stay, what you will do and which of the many sights and activities will you see and take part in. this may seem daunting from home although with a few simple tips it is actually not so difficult to pencil in a plan for your Bali vacation. First of all do you enjoy being located close to tourism facilities? If you do then are you looking for budget accommodation in Bali or the more up market Bali accommodation? Are you a family, a couple or a group of friends and do you want to be located on the beach or in an area of cultural richness? Of course there is a lot of cross over in these departments and there plenty of opportunities to see the rest of the island from where ever you are. For example, Sanur offers a midrange collection of hotels and villas which are perfect for families and couples and if you are looking luxury then a little further south at Nusa Dua will be the place for you. If you are looking for budget accommodations in Bali try the surfers, backpackers and budget travelers haven of Kuta. Just out of Kuta along the beach you will find Legian and Seminyak, as you travel north you will find a more sophisticated set up gradually getting quieter until you enter Kerobokan.

There are also a number of quieter areas such as the cultural heart of Ubud located at the foot of the Gunung Agung and a number of small seaside villages around the coast where you will find boutique villa arrangements often right on the beach for a peaceful stay. Trips and activities include surfing, snorkeling, diving, water sports as well as hiking and cycling. There are 5 superb Golf courses around the island, two of which are consistently rated in the top 50 in the world and with great transport and a number of ways to get around the islands surrounding Bali even for day trips or an over night stay. You can catch a fast boat or an internal an extremely short flight, these trips are made even easier by the tour companies who will set you up with an itinerary taking you in comfort from your hotel to your chosen location with everything taken care of for a very low price making your Bali vacation even more fruitful.

There are a number of helpful hints as to what to bring with you on your Bali vacation apart from the obvious swimwear and sunglasses. Bring plenty of high factor sun cream as this is particularly expensive on the island. It is sensible to buy a Chinese medicine called Teta Yao Gin in Bali which is great for cleaning any cuts and keeping them dry in the heat and humidity while aiding the healing process. You are guaranteed an excellent experience in Bali whether you are looking for fun, relaxation or a connection with a wonderful culture.
