Sanur Village Festival

Sanur Village Festival will be held on 15-19 August at Inna Grand Bali Beach and Segara Beach by people of Sanur, Goverment of Denpasar and Bali Tourism Board. The New Spirit of Heritage is the the theme of this second festival. As we know, after the second bomb explotion in Bali around October 2005, tourism activities in Bali had drastically decreased and it was so quiet. Hopefully, this will attract many tourist to visit Bali again and note them that Bali is now safer than ever.
Sanur is actually one of tourism area in Bali contributing most tax to Denpasar Regency. It was Rp. 46 Billion in 2006. Ida Bagus Gede Sidharta Putra hoped that this festival will rebuild Sanur potential as Art and Cultural Fisherman Village, also will give opportunity to artist and people working in tourism industry to participate.
Food, jazz, sport and art will be part of festival. The board will also introduce traditional restaurant well known as warung to every visitor coming as well as hotel food and restaurant. The visitor will get so many discount of hotel fare and restaurant, and will be introduced to visit many tourism object in Denpasar without spending any money.
