Gili means Island in Lombok local language. Another travel destination in Lombok is Gili Air, Gili Meno and Gili Trawangan. These three small islands are great places for scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, boating and swimming. Colorful fishes and corals can be explored under the water around the gili. To get to Gili, you may take public transportation for Mataram heading up to Bangsal or Pemenang Village. You can find public boat serving daily from Lombok to those three Gili. Gili Air is just 20 minutes sailing, 30 minutes to Gili Meno and 45 minutes to Gili Trawangan. There are some hotels available on Gili Air, Gili Meno and Gili Trawangan.
