Kuta Bali Information

Kuta is an interesting place, lies in Kuta sub district as one of the sub districts in Badung regency, Bali. Drive from the airport is around 10 minutes. It is located on the southern part of the island and is famous for its white sandy beach, good surfing spots and fabulous sunset. Kuta has been renown worldwide travelers who wish to spending their holiday on the paradise island and unwind along the golden sandy beach. It is almost busy and crowded during June to September as there are some holiday period. The rest of the year is not so crowded.

Kuta provides various choice of tourist activities and facilities including big shopping malls, arts shops, restaurants, local traditional market, water sport recreations, night club and many more. It is the shopping paradise for both local and worldwide visitors. Travelers may try the bargaining skill with the local sellers for something you may want to buy. Besides you can interact with the local people, learn to speak Bahasa Indonesia, artworks learning and explore how they prepare offerings.

Choice of accommodation from the cheapest losmen, home stay to five stars can be found around Kuta. Hang around Jalan Legian, Jalan Poppies and Jalan Benesari, you can find cheap hotel from as low as USD 10.00 per room per night. But remember to choose hotel with good facilities and well maintained. Most of the cheap accommodation or losmen in Kuta do not provide bath towels, toilet paper and soap.

Dining and Entertainment
There are hundreds of restaurant and cafe around Kuta. Kuta has night market at the southern edge. Tourists can enjoy fresh food and you only pay approximately Rp.13.000. Kuta’s nightlife is very much interested by teenager traveler’s, with popular bars and clubs such as bounty, hard rock and etc.

How to get there
Kuta is easily access from any part of Bali. We can use public transportation like bemo and taxi from Denpasar. It is in the strategic position between Tuban on the south and Legian on the north.
