Information:
Villa Julius is located in Gili Trawangam and has splendid views over seascapes and one of the best sunsets in Lombok with Gunung Agung of Bali in the background. Villa Julius really is an ideal getaway and the serenity is enhanced only by the fabulous design and architecture of the villas with their fusion of rustic tranquility and mod cons. The villa is situated right on the beach, and you can almost feel the calm of the sea infiltrate you soothing night’s sleep here.

There a re lush botanical gardens to be found at Villa Julius, with Jepun trees, frangipani, plus some specially imported Japanese shrubbery. Nestled in the gardens are sun beds with beach views. The style of the hotel is traditionally Balinese but ha been enhanced by state of the art western facilities. There are seven rooms which have all felt the touch of a personal interior designer, and the king size bedrooms are fully air conditioned with Balinese roofing, en suite bathrooms with hot and cold running water, two of which have private but open air showers. The villas all have two living and dining rooms next to a lovely pool.

Villa Julius is well equipped to put its welcome guests in direct contact with an array of adventures and activities. Scuba diving is well established, and the villa has all the information and agents to facilitate such things. Tours of the Gili Islands can be arranged with ease and are highly recommended, as these waters host macro and mega fauna with the likes of turtles, manta rays, colorful fishes, and more. There is the option of trekking up Mount Rinjani (3726 meters above sea level), as well as sea kayaking and fine dining in the abundance of excellently managed restaurants in this area of Lombok.

The nearby Gili islands can be reached by boat in around twenty minutes, and are a major draw card for visitors in this area.

Gili Trawangan measures two by three kilometers and is the smallest island in the world to have a full Irish Pub.Lombok's prime beach side destination of Sengigi can be reached by Bali in just one and a half hours by speed boat. The idyllic location is found on the north west of Lombok Island, and both Bali's tallest mountain and Lombok’s tallest mountain can be seen from the beach. Thanks to the surrounding coral reefs, the beaches here are of coral sand and hence as white as rice. The waters are shallow and safe for swimming, and the turquoise colors are more than alluring.
