Information: Artini Cottages Resort and Spa is located in Ubud and offers the main spa treatments in one of the most idyllic places on the island as well as traditional style villa accommodation. Ubud is a wonderful tropical location where the hills are lined with rice terraces and there are tropical woodlands and river valleys flow through the land. It is not only the landscape that is beautiful in this area but also the incredible Balinese culture that is most dedicated in the area of Ubud.

Ubud has become known as the cultural heart or centre of Bali and can be enjoyed in many ways such as watching the live performances of the ancient rituals and incredible costumed reenactments of the stories and legends of the areas and religion. The culture is impossible to avoid in this are as with most of Bali as the local people make blessings and offering every day to the gods and it is more likely than not that you will come across a large ceremony of some kind for either a family event or a calendar event. Ubud is situated about an hour and a half’s drive from the international airport and is at about 600 meters above the sea level in fresher mountain climates. There is plenty to do for all the family including visiting the monkey forests, many ancient ruins, excellent dinning and trips and tours around he area as well as visiting the painters community.

The modern traditional look is incredible and with all the facilities of a modern villa, at the Artini Cottages Resort and Spa you really get an excellent marriage of the best of both worlds. Facilities in the rooms include a color television with satellite channels, a full mini bar and snack fridge. There are also all the home amenities including hair dryers and bathroom products. All rooms are fully air conditioned. There is a social feel to this villa and usually the people who visit this area are interesting and friendly. The gardens are wonderful and have seating areas both in and out of the sun and are wonderfully landscaped in the traditional fashion.
