VILLAS IN SEMINYAK

Seminyak is home to a number of excellent villas which starch around the whole area offering a number of different styles and levels of luxury. Generally all of the villas in Seminyak are of a very high standard and offer great in villa facilities as well as positioning. Luxury comes as standard in any of the villas in the area although there are some that take the idea of luxury boutique villa living to the next level. Seminyak has always been very progressive with its innovative villas and ideas and due to this there is a large number of what has become known as mod-ethnic villas. These villas offer a combination of modern tropical luxury living and traditional Balinese ideas in terms of architecture and relaxed lay outs.  This type of villas in Seminyak can vary in the modern or traditional weighting depending on the interpretation and vision of the villa designers. Another factor that affects the style and feel of the villas in Seminyak is whether it is located in the south of the area or in the north of the area as Seminyak is where the landscape and feel of the Kuta area changed into the more traditional and quieter areas around the rice paddies. The incredible facilities around the Oberoi area are incredible with some fantastic dinning as well as unbelievable stylish shopping. There are many resorts in this area which can be located on or very close to the beach or a little further away. There are merits to all of the areas of Seminyak seen as all areas are close to the facilities and the beaches so you can decide whether you want the action right on your doorstep or whether you would rather be slightly away from it and have a little more quiet. There are also the more traditional villas which are equally as luxurious and located in the north of the Seminyak area towards the Kerobokan area. Here you will find views looking out over the rice paddies and a very quiet and peaceful atmosphere with only a 5 or 10 minute trip into the centre of the action. Both are available on and off the beach but again the further north you go the quieter the beach will be and further south there is a more social atmosphere. Regardless of where you choose you will undoubtedly have air conditioning and hot and cold water in a luxury bathroom. The lighting will be excellent and you can expect luxury furniture as well as luxury flat screen televisions which have DVD players and surround sound. There will be a kitchenette and usually there is the option of having a chief cook in rather than eating out. Many of the villas in Seminyak do have their own excellent restaurants although some of the southern one do not and instead recommend nearby restaurants. In the north there are always a good range of facilities and the décor is always great with private pool almost as standard and a great level of service.
