Amed is located in the very north of Bali and is sometime considered east Bali. Amed is a very relaxed and sleepy traditional area where you will find a very mellow atmosphere which is very close to the classic tropical seclusion that many people desire from their holiday. This beautiful beach area is located around a 4 hour's drive from the international airport where you will find a tropical sanctuary away from all of the cities and the bulk of the tourists in the south of the island.
